This is (finally, and after many years) nearly complete, apart from the drum parts which are still in-progress. To a certain extent the work was inspired by Dave Brubeck, and especially his "Time Out" and "Time Further Out" albums. This is probably most obvious in the Second Movement, which is a deliberate Dave Brubeck tribute.

The Dave Brubeck inspiration also spilled over into other works, most notably Eden's Exiles, which contains a lot of experimentation with unusual time-signatures, and frequent time-signature changes.
